Great place!
All the girls that work here are very friendly and encouraging, all the horses are lovely natured and well cared for.
You can go for a trail ride to the top of Bald Hill where the views are amazing, have a riding lesson or a learn to play pollocrosse, which is great fun.
Suitable for all ages young to old and all riding abilities, complete beginners to advanced.
I thoroughly recommend Jarrahdale Equestrian, it’s a great place to relax and unwind or challenge yourself, if that’s your preference.
Staff are super friendly, helpful and make sure you are always 100%. The horses are friendly and easy to ride and altogether was an unforgettable experience. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.
I see posts from this riding centre all the time and you can see the horses are so well looked after and trained taking a host of different people out and the horses are amazing and safe
I couldn’t recommend Jarrahdale Equestrian Centre enough. Everyone is friendly and professional. All of the horses are treated well and are well looked after. Every clients needs are all catered for. I’ve learnt lots from Salli and the girls! My riding has improved so much thanks to the girls here. Ride outs up the hill are amazing!! I have gained confidence in my riding and handling.
I definitely would recommend Jarrahdale Equestrian Centre to everyone.
We had a lovely family trail ride. Very friendly staff and great horses. Our Miss 7 had a safe and gentle horse for her first trail ride.
My best friend and I came for a 2 hour ride out over the weekend and had the most amazing experience! We used to ride together when we kids but it’s probably been 20 years, we were definitely feeling a bit rusty.. Allie was so great, chatting away to us and showing the different sights and animals around the hills. She made us both feel at ease in the saddle and we were soon comfortable enough to go for a bit of a trot and canter, with a few riding tips along the way which was just what we needed, great instructor and guide 10/10.
The views up at Bald Hill are just stunning, even with the rain clouds that were rolling in we could still see the skyscrapers in Perth!
The horses are well taken care of, very well behaved and very responsive which increased the confidence levels.
Even with Covid restrictions it was easy to check in with the SafeWA QR code and there was a hand washing station and hand sanitizer to use as well.
Amazing experience riding around the Jarrahdale Hills, 100% recommend and will be back!
Just had my third visit to JEC and I thoroughly enjoyed it once again. I can’t wait to go back. The horses are beautifully behaved and so clearly will loved and cared for. The instruction is great and a perfect balance between explicit direction and independent learning. The facilities and the trails are fantastic with beautiful views. Would highly recommend them to all levels of riders, ages and abilities.
After not being on a horse for 30+ years, I booked in for a lesson at JEC with my daughter… love watching her learning to ride, growing in confidence, seeing the joy it gives her & as a parent, being able to encourage her to pursue her dreams is a gift on it’s own.
I’m a lot heavier than I used to be – due to that & my self doubt it was something I never thought I’d be able to experience or do again. It brought tears to my eyes, the day I got back into the saddle – very grateful to have ridden Finch, who understood that I needed to take it gently.
Made me realise just how much I missed being with these wonderful creatures.
I remember as a little girl when driving on long family trips to Perth from the Goldfields, I would pretend that one of the horses we passed had jumped a fence and I was the only one who could ride him to safety lol. A childhood fantasy but a desire that has always stuck with me! I have always wanted to learn how to ride and care for a horse but never had the confidence or the opportunity to take lessons. I had been on maybe 3 trail rides in my life and loved that experience but I wanted more and had been thinking about starting lessons for the last few years. Well, finally, after turning 40 this year I made the decision to NOT just think about it but actually DO it and I am so glad I took that step! Had my first lesson last week and it was the best hour ever and cannot wait for the next lesson and all the ones in the future! Tracey was a fantastic teacher and my horse Finch was beautiful and so lovely natured. A really wonderful centre, with stunning scenery, amazing horses and fabulous staff 😀
